PHIL & KAREN BONASSO

Long time residents of Southern California, Phil and Karen re-located to Irvine to pursue their lifelong dream of building a strong family church with an outreach through the creative arts and media.

Passionate about family, they have 5 beautiful daughters, ranging in age between 27 to 14, 3 son-in-laws and two grand children. To discover more about them, please visit their website at philbonasso.com.

Besides their deep love for each other, Phil and Karen are deeply committed to the Word of God and spreading the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Still young at heart, the Bonasso’s favorite pastime is hanging out at Disneyland with their family!

MEDIA PASTORS

BRETT AND REBECCA SIMMONS

Born and raised in Southern California, the Simmons continue to make their home in Orange County.

Both Brett and Rebecca attended Chapman University in the city of Orange. Rebecca majored in Music Composition at the Chapman Music school. Brett graduated with honors from the Chapman film school as a director and screenwriter. One of his short films was screened at the Sundance film festival in Utah.

While continuing his work with producers for feature film projects, Brett is bringing to life the story of the Gospel through film and media for Storyteller Church in Irvine. Rebecca continues to tell the story of the Gospel through music and songwriting.

Brett and Rebecca are expecting their first child in January and are very busy preparing for their young son!

WORSHIP DIRECTOR

JACK MONDONEDO

A graduate of the University of Southern California School of music, Jack has an extensive background in developing worship teams and overseeing technical support for worship services.

With a devotion second only to the Lord, Jack continues to rise and fall on Saturday afternoons with the “Trojans”.

CREATIVE ARTS DIRECTOR

AMBER BONASSO

Raised in Southern California, Amber received her Theatre Arts degree form Cal State University Long Beach. She has produced and developed major theatrical and media entertainment programs for large conference events as well as churches.

Currently she is working as an educator in an after-school program teaching kids how to be young filmmakers.  She is a company member with the Los Angeles Shakespeare Company and training as a stuntwoman in the entertainment industry.  Amber continues to express her passion for God through pursuing her professional career and the creative arts at Storyteller Church.

STORYTELLER KIDZ DIRECTOR

DIANA MONDONEDO

Yes! She is Jack’s wife and a fellow graduate of the USC School of music. Diana brings amazing administration skills to add to her great big love of God’s children (yours as well)!

With Diana’s help, we hope every young person will have an awesome experience at  Storyteller Church.
